When your kids are at their worst do this...
It’s some serious mental ju jitsu…

Howdy,
Imagine this…
You’re at Target with your kid.
You’ve both agreed that you only need soap, a birthday card, and flour.
But…
As you pass by the toy aisle, they see something they want.
You kindly, yet firmly, say, "Not today."
They say “pleeeassseee.”
You respond with, "Not today. How about when we fill up your sticker chart?"
That's when it all takes a turn...
In 37 seconds, things escalate to DEFCON 1.
Screaming. Kicking. Throwing stuff.
You may be thinking, “Adam…no need to imagine. This sounds like like a run-of-the-mill Saturday morning.”
I feel you.
Not to worry, I’ve got a mindset shift so you can keep your cool when your kid’s pot is boiling over.
Today, we have…
1. When your kids are at their worst, do this one thing.
2. The unusual bond that working out and your favorite products share.
3. The tiniest masterpiece I’ve ever seen.

1. When your kids are at their worst, do this one thing.
Ok, so things went sideways at Target.
You’re frustrated. Embarrassed.
And you’re saying to yourself…
“Why can’t I take my child anywhere?
Now, when this sort of thing happens again…
Try this:
Pretend you’re 80.
You get to go back in time but…
ONLY for this Target tantrum.
Would you do it?

Here’s why…
It's the same reason folks wouldn't swap lives with Warren Buffet (even with all his billions).
Your time is priceless. ⏰
Childhood is a unique and fleeting phase in both your life and there’s.
You'll long for today's lows in the future.
So, when things get challenging, hop in that mental time machine.
This isn’t a magic bullet to end meltdowns…
It’s some much-needed perspective you need to make them easier to handle.
2. The unusual bond that working out and your favorite products share.
I crawled out of bed this morning, tired & unmotivated.
It was a struggle to start a workout.
After I made it through the first 5 minutes, things started to change.
I was alert, focused, warm, and full of energy.
This got me thinking…
Working out is an unreal “product.”
It delivers transformation unlike any other.
Tired → taking on the world in <20 mins.
That’s why we do it, in spite of the fact that it’s not fun and often painful.
Where am I going?
In business, you can screw up a lot of things.
But there’s one thing you’ve got to nail:

Understanding where your audience is today (point A) and drawing a clear line to (point B) with your product/service as the solution.
Your customers need to know that you can transform their lives and, without a doubt, you will.
Because if you can make them believe that…
They will suffer through a lot to make it work.
3. The tiniest masterpiece I’ve ever seen.
Woah…
P.S. If this was helpful, take 1 minute to forward it to a friend or family member. It takes me 2+ hrs to make.
See ya next week!
