The easiest way to keep your relationship solid.

It takes 5 mins...

Howdy,

Keeping your relationship healthy seems impossible.

It's not your fault...

Being a working parent feels like running a never-ending marathon.

  • Juggling office deadlines.

  • Managing household chores.

  • Attending parent-teacher meetings.

  • Taking care of sick kids.

  • Finding little to no personal time.

How are you supposed to put in the time with your partner?

Here's the thing...

It doesn’t take as much as you think.

Quality > quantity

Imagine a world where you two are:

  • Feeling more connected

  • Learning from each other.

  • Squashing minor issues before the pot boils over.

  • Finding the best version of your relationship.

Sounds good, right?

Here’s how in 5 minutes/day…

A nightly check-in.

And, it fits into a neat little acronym:

T.E.A.M.

Hold hands, hug, lay next to each other etc.

Explain one thing you learned today.

Share something your partner did that you appreciated.

Provide feedback on something your partner could do better (if you don’t have any feedback, skip it).

What’s the takeaway?

It's amazing how much a little space each day for connection, appreciation, and airing minor issues can strengthen your bond.

What I learned this week…

I was reminded about the noise bottleneck:

We think more books, influencers, and news will lead to better answers.

It doesn’t.

It’s the simple, obvious things that make the biggest impact.

The longest-running study on human development in history is proving this about parenting.

I want to do an issue about this…what do you think?

Quote of the week

“There is no such thing as a perfect parent. So just be a real one.”

Sue Atkins

P.S. I want to be friends with this person.
