Sara Blakely's secret for building an empire.
Everyone glosses over this one thing...

Howdy,
You know Sarah Blakely.
You know Spanx.
But, you probably don’t know the biggest contributor to Sarah’s success…
Today, we’ve got…
Sara Blakely’s secret weapon.
The real reason your kid’s not listening.
The best use of AI (and it’s for a kids app!)

1. Sara Blakely’s secret weapon
Enter her parents.
No, they didn’t bankroll her.
They gave her something priceless.
Let me explain…
Sarah’s mom focused on free time.
She didn’t program every minute of her daughter’s life.

When Sarah said she was bored, her mom would respond:
“You’ve got lots of toys, figure it out.”
She forced Sarah to entertain herself.

Like setting up a mini golf course in her yard and charging admission to neighborhood kids.
Sarah’s dad also made an impact.
He had an unorthodox dinnertime ritual…

Sarah credits this simple act with making her more willing to take risks.
You want your kids to be independent, successful adults?
It’s simple…

2. The real reason your kid’s not listening.
I worked in consumer packaged goods for 8+ years…
Want to know the most important thing I learned that applies to every parent?
You’ve got seconds to convince someone to buy your product.
Here’s the process…
👉 Attention - Packaging grabs attention
👉 Interest - Shopper asks, “What is it?”
👉 Desire - Shopper asks, “Why should I care?”
👉 Action - Shopper decides if they should buy.
So, how does relate to parenting?
Parenting is all about selling and often, you only have seconds to get it right.
So, often we resort to making demands like…
Put 👏 on 👏 your 👏 shoes (7 times in a row) when we’re trying to leave the house but that doesn’t ever work… does it?
Try something like this instead:

Here’s why this works…
“Put your shoes on” offers no clear benefit.
Making it a fun game where the winner gets to pick the music does.
When was the last time you bought something that wasn’t clear on how it benefited you?
Here’s the point…
Your kids need help understanding why they have to do things especially when they aren’t fun.
Show them the benefits. Benefits create desire. Desire creates action.
3. The best use of AI (and it’s a kid’s app!)
You’re drowning in miscellaneous Lego pieces. All the original instructions are gone. So, what do you do?
Use this app to scan them and build something cool.

P.S. If this was helpful, take 1 minute to forward it to a friend or family member. It takes me 2+ hrs to make.
See ya next week!
