The 1 minute ritual you should do with your kids.

It's how you get get on the same page before chaos ensues at their friend’s birthday…

Howdy,

Imagine…

It’s Spencer’s birthday.

Within 13 seconds of entering the indoor trampoline park, your kid is gone…

Within 43 seconds, they’ve started a fight with another kid…

And scraped their knee.

Things are off to a HOT START. 🔥

Let’s take a deep breath and discuss a strategy that helps lower the chances of this sort of thing happening.

Today, we have:

1. Parenting thing: The 1-minute ritual you should do with your kids before you go anywhere.

2. Business/life thing: What a glass of water can teach you about life.

3. Internet thing: If you laugh first, you lose.

1. The 1-minute ritual you should do with your kids before you go anywhere.

Going places with your kids is challenging.

They’re just kinda… loose cannons.

So, if you’re going somewhere new…

Show them pictures of the place.

Tell them there will be lots of kids there of all different ages.

Paint as much of a mental picture as possible.

When you’re pulling up to the event, do this before you get out of the car:

Imagine you’re a little football team huddling up before a play…

I know this sounds silly.

Trust me.

It goes a long way toward ensuring kids know the limits and have a good time.

2. What a glass of water can teach you about life.

You can’t carry the glass forever…

3. If you laugh first, you lose.

I lost.
